Cocktail Masterclass – May 1 – The Kitchen

  • The Kitchen 1917 Point Nepean Road Tootgarook, VIC, 3941 Australia (map)

Cocktail Masterclass at The Kitchen

Friday 1st May
6:00pm – 9:00pm
The Kitchen, Tootgarook
$120 per person

There’s something quietly romantic about a well-made cocktail.

The gentle clink of ice in a glass. Citrus oils twisting through the air. Candlelight catching the amber glow of a drink stirred properly. It’s not just the cocktail itself — it’s the moment around it.

On Friday 1st May, we’re bringing that atmosphere back to The Kitchen with another of our much-loved Cocktail Masterclasses, hosted alongside Mark Rigby, founder of Stache House Distillery.

Mark will guide guests through the craft, character and stories behind the Stache House range, before you step behind your own bar station to shake, stir and garnish cocktails of your own.

Whether you arrive as a couple, a group of friends, or simply someone who appreciates a great drink and good company, the evening is designed to be relaxed, interactive and a little indulgent.

What to Expect

Welcome Cocktail

We’ll begin the evening with a refreshing spritz on arrival as Mark introduces the Stache House distillery and the spirits we’ll be working with throughout the night.

Hands-On Cocktail Making

Guests will learn to craft three cocktails themselves, including our twist on a classic Old Fashioned along with a selection of signature serves using Stache House spirits. Along the way you’ll learn the techniques that bring balance, aroma and presentation together in a proper cocktail.

Guided Spirit Tasting

Mark will also lead a tasting of selected Stache House spirits and liqueurs, sharing the stories, ingredients and character behind each one.

Chef’s Tasting Menu

Our kitchen will keep things well fuelled with a progression of dishes served throughout the evening:

Baharat spiced chicken and chickpea salad with tahini dressing
Hand-rolled twice-cooked gnocchi with lamb shank ragu and shaved Grana Padano
Boozy affogato with cacao and coffee liqueur

Take Home the Tools

Each guest will also receive their own cocktail shaker set to take home, so the evening doesn’t have to end when you leave.
