Great food brings people together.
A great community keeps them coming back.

Community is part of who we are.

The Mornington Peninsula has been our home since day one, and we're proud to be part of the communities that have supported us along the way.

Every day, our venues bring people together over coffee, food and conversation. Whether it's friends catching up, families celebrating, local groups meeting or visitors discovering the Peninsula, hospitality is about far more than what's on the plate.

Supporting local people, organisations and causes isn't something we do because we have to. It's something we do because this is our home too.

Community in Action

Every community is built on small acts of generosity, connection and support.

We're fortunate to call the Mornington Peninsula home, and even more fortunate to play a small part in the communities that make it such a special place.

Here are just some of the ways we're proud to give back.

20 Cent Tuesdays

Every Tuesday, we donate 20 cents from every hot drink sold across The Kitchens Group to Southern Peninsula Community Support (SPCS).

It's a simple idea that turns every coffee, tea and chai into an opportunity to support local people doing it tough.

Small contributions, made consistently, can make a meaningful difference.

Supporting Our Community

Community isn't just about the events we host—it's about showing up when we can make a difference.

Over the years we've partnered with local organisations, charities and community leaders to support a wide range of initiatives, from fundraising events and donation drives to preparing hundreds of free meals for people doing it tough.

We're proud to play our part, and we're always looking for new ways to support the Mornington Peninsula community.

Investing in the Next Generation

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is helping young people take their first steps into the workforce.

Every year we welcome school students, trainees and first-time employees into our venues, providing real workplace experience, mentoring and opportunities to build skills and confidence that last well beyond hospitality.

Many of our team members started with us in their very first job—and have gone on to build successful careers both within The Kitchens and beyond.

A Place to Belong

The best community spaces aren't just somewhere to eat—they're somewhere to meet.

Every day we see neighbours catching up over coffee, families celebrating milestones, local groups gathering after meetings and familiar faces returning week after week.

Those everyday moments are what community looks like, and we're grateful to be a small part of them.

Supporting Local Organisations

Every year we're privileged to receive requests from schools, sporting clubs, charities and community groups seeking support.

While we're not able to assist every request, we do our best to contribute through donations, raffle prizes, fundraising opportunities and venue partnerships whenever we can.

If you're part of a charity, community organisation, school or sporting club and have an idea for working together, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're planning a fundraiser, community event or local partnership, we're always happy to have a conversation about how we can help.

Community isn't built overnight.
It's built every day.
