Small-batch wines, great food and stories from the southern Barossa Valley.
GENISTA WINEMAKER DINNER
Friday 31 July 2026 | The Kitchen, Tootgarook
Five Courses. Six Wines. One unforgettable evening.
Join us on Friday 31 July as we welcome Lloyd Broom and Sarah Gregory of Genista Wines to The Kitchen for an intimate evening of seasonal food, matched wines and stories from the Barossa Valley.
After leaving Melbourne behind to pursue a dream of owning a vineyard, Lloyd and Sarah established Genista Wines with a focus on producing small-batch wines that reflect both place and personality. Since crushing their first grapes in 2017 and officially launching in 2020, they've built a loyal following for approachable, character-filled wines crafted in the southern Barossa Valley.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy five seasonal courses paired with six Genista wines while Lloyd and Sarah share stories from the vineyard, the winery and their journey from city life to winemaking.
Set around our long tables at The Kitchen, this relaxed and interactive evening offers guests the opportunity to meet the people behind the wines, learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a carefully curated menu designed to complement each wine.
