On Friday July 31st, we’ll be welcoming Lloyd Broom and Sarah Gregory of Genista Wines to The Kitchen for an intimate evening of five matched courses and wines.
Originally from Melbourne, Lloyd and Sarah traded city life for the Barossa Valley after falling in love with the region years earlier. What began as a bold idea soon became a full lifestyle change — buying a vineyard, learning the craft from the ground up and producing wines in the style they genuinely love drinking themselves.
Since squishing their first grapes in 2017 and officially launching Genista Wines in 2020, the duo have built a passionate following for their approachable, small-batch wines grown and crafted in the southern Barossa Valley.
Throughout the evening, Lloyd and Sarah will guide guests through each wine, sharing stories of vineyard life, vintage chaos, winemaking and the realities of chasing a dream in one of Australia’s most iconic wine regions.
Guests will enjoy five seasonal courses paired alongside Genista wines in the relaxed, long-table atmosphere that our Meet The Winemaker dinners have become known for.
